After relocating to Miami from New York, Aleks got involved in the startup ecosystem as the CFO of a tech startup in Miami. He rounded this agile growth-focused agenda with his 10+ year experience and corporate skillset from leading corporate finance and asset management at a private equity portfolio company. Prior to that, he began his career with J.P. Morgan and worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group in investment banking in NYC, where he worked on strategic alternatives across different industries. He has dual Bachelors degrees in Finance and International Studies from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. With a global upbringing across continents, Aleks is involved in the Serbian Entrepreneurs network and is passionate about growing the startup ecosystems in Adriatic Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
